Fair Time!

Every year as August approaches, the kids start talking about going to the STATE FAIR.  As our youngest says, "It's so much FUN!"  This year the Fair starts on Thursday August 17th.  For those of us who go almost every year - this year will hold a few surprises for us.

The most noticeable change will be changes with the midway.  It has a new name and a new location.  The midway will be called Thrill Ville and it will be located in the main lot in front of Freedom Hall.

The Fair will also have a new APP.  The app will have have up to date maps that show where you are and the fastest route to get where you are going.

As far as tickets and parking - this year you can save some money by purchasing in advance.  You can get advanced tickets at Kroger and online.  You can visit their web site to find out the hours, cost, and special promotions offered this year.  Click here to find out about the promotions offered this year.
